Roller Shutters
Introducing our classic roller shutter doors, tailored to elevate the aesthetic and functionality of industrial and commercial spaces alike.
Generally constructed from 75mm concave galvanised lath, with an option for plastisol and powder coating, size range from 9 to 60 meters sq, typical door operation push up self-coiling operation/gearless and geared hand chain/single and three phase operation.
Standard Roller Shutter doors are designed to accept basic wind speeds up to and including 73mph (hurricane on Beaufort Scale) using wind speed factors S1=1, S2 – 0.74 + S3 =1 as defined in DOE Codes of Practice CP3 Chapter S1 part 2:1972, based on an enclosed structure. Roller shutters can be designed to accept greater wind speeds if required.
Roller Shutters Installation
All door systems are installed by our fully trained fitters who are regularly assessed and meet all current health and safety requirements. All tools and equipment used are inspected monthly and meet all electrical and mechanical requirements. Random site inspections are carried out to ensure a high standard of workmanship is maintained. All site inspections are documented and audited to ensure no irregular trends are apparent. Upon completion, our clients are requested to inspect the installation to ensure all site work is carried out to their satisfaction.
