Security Grilles For Doors And Windows
Collapsible Grilles (also known as Retractable or Concertina Gates) are an alternative to fixed grilles. The key feature is their ability to open and close in a concertina-style motion (slides along tracks to open and close).
Internal Security Grilles
Primarily used for internal security, these grilles are strong and versatile, providing you with the option of opening and closing at your convenience. In their opened state, the bunch of the gate takes up only a few inches at the edge of the window and as such, can be hidden behind curtains should you desire.
Collapsible grilles can be made as a pair (to meet in the middle of the window) or as a single bunch (to close on one side) and they are secured to the window recess via top and bottom tracks. If required a lift-up bottom track can be provided.
Collapsible Grilles are fitted with an easy-to-use push-button locking device – hook locks are an alternative if there is a need to lock/unlock the gate from both sides. All gates are treated with a powder-coated finish (white as standard).
